Evaluasi Status Gizi dan Lemak Tubuh Karyawan Perkantoran melalui Pengukuran Lingkar Tubuh dan Lemak Subkutan

Pendahuluan: Status gizi merupakan indikator penting kesehatan yang dapat dinilai melalui Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan komposisi tubuh. Penumpukan lemak, khususnya lemak viseral, berperan besar dalam perkembangan penyakit metabolik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran IMT dan komposisi lemak tubuh pada karyawan perkantoran di kawasan Sudirman. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Plan–Do–Check–Action (PDCA). Pada tahap Plan, dilakukan perencanaan kegiatan yang mencakup penentuan responden, alat ukur, dan variabel yang akan diamati. Tahap Do meliputi pengumpulan data antropometri (IMT, lingkar perut, panggul, lengan atas, leher, dan betis) serta komposisi lemak tubuh (lemak total, viseral, dan lipatan bawah kulit pada biceps, triceps, suprailiaka, dan skapula) menggunakan skinfold caliper. Tahap Check dilakukan melalui analisis deskriptif dengan distribusi frekuensi, rerata, standar deviasi, median, serta rentang nilai minimum dan maksimum. Tahap Action difokuskan pada interpretasi hasil dan penyusunan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan program kesehatan berbasis status antropometri dan komposisi tubuh. Hasil: Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan rerata IMT sebesar 27,51 ± 5,42 kg/m2, yang mengindikasikan status gizi berlebih pada sebagian besar responden. Lingkar perut rata-rata mencapai 89,58 ± 12,15 cm, sementara persentase lemak tubuh rata-rata 30,92 ± 7,11%. Lemak viseral tercatat cukup tinggi dengan rata-rata 11,26 ± 6,42. Pengukuran lemak bawah kulit menunjukkan ketebalan tertinggi didapatkan pada area suprailiaka (18,94 ± 7,47 mm) dan skapula (15,80 ± 6,60 mm), menandakan dominasi penumpukan lemak sentral. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pekerja kantoran, merupakan kelompok yang rentan mengalami obesitas abdominal dan peningkatan risiko metabolik. Kesan: Karyawan perkantoran di kawasan Sudirman memiliki status gizi berlebih disertai penumpukan lemak viseral dan lemak bawah kulit di area suprailiaka dan skapula sentral, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan risiko sindrom metabolik.
