Abstract

Pasar Kradenan di Desa Kradenan menghasilkan sekitar 40 kg limbah sayur dan buah setiap hari yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Kelompok Tani Hutan Alam Lestari dalam budidaya maggot Black Soldier Fly serta pemanfaatan limbah organik sebagai pakan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Juli–Agustus 2026 dengan melibatkan 11 anggota melalui tahapan persiapan, pembuatan prototipe kandang, sosialisasi, demonstrasi, evaluasi, dan monitoring. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 8,4 menjadi 8,9, nilai minimum dari 6 menjadi 7, dan median dari 8,5 menjadi 9. Sebanyak 40% peserta mengalami peningkatan nilai, 20% tetap, dan 40% mengalami penurunan. Kegiatan menghasilkan prototipe kandang berdasarkan tahapan perkembangan maggot dan pendampingan selama tiga minggu. Pendekatan ini membantu mitra menerapkan budidaya secara lebih terarah serta memanfaatkan limbah organik pasar sebagai sumber pakan yang bernilai guna dan mendukung pengelolaan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan serta meningkatkan kemandirian mitra dalam pengelolaan limbah organik lokal.
