Correction and Retraction Policy

Jurnal Pengabdian Sosial may publish a correction when a published article contains an error that can be corrected without invalidating its principal conclusions. Retraction may be considered when reliable evidence indicates serious research misconduct, plagiarism, fabricated or falsified results, unreliable findings, or other circumstances that undermine the integrity of the publication. Editorial decisions will follow an appropriate assessment of the available evidence and, where necessary, consultation with the authors, reviewers, or relevant institutions. Correction and retraction notices will identify the affected article, explain the reason for the action, and remain linked to the original publication record. The original article will be retained in the publication record with an appropriate notice, rather than silently removed.

Complaints and Appeals

Complaints concerning editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, or alleged research or publication misconduct may be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief with sufficient information to explain the concern. Appeals against editorial decisions must provide a clear justification and, where appropriate, supporting evidence. Complaints and appeals will be assessed impartially, and independent advice may be sought when necessary. Individuals involved in a complaint or appeal must disclose relevant conflicts of interest. The journal will handle these matters confidentially to the extent appropriate and will communicate decisions to the relevant parties.
