Conflict of Interest
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, personal, or institutional relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting, or publication of a community service activity. Relevant relationships may include funding arrangements, institutional affiliations, commercial interests, personal relationships, or other interests that could affect the objectivity of the report. If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should include the following statement in their manuscript:
"The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest."
Editors and reviewers must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and must not participate in decisions where their impartiality could reasonably be questioned.
Funding Disclosure
Authors must disclose all sources of financial and material support for the community service activity and manuscript preparation, including institutional funding, grants, sponsorships, and support from partner organizations. The funding statement should identify the funding organization and, where applicable, the grant or project number. Authors should also describe the funder's role in the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of the activity.
If no specific external funding was received, authors should include the following statement:
"This activity and manuscript received no specific external funding."
Authors must also disclose relevant in-kind support, such as the provision of facilities, equipment, materials, or personnel, when such support is relevant to understanding the activity or potential conflicts of interest.
